RESOLUTION
Honoring
the life of Mrs. Eula Mae Nelson and expressing sorrow upon her passing; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Eula Mae Nelson was born on August 14, 1926, in Harris County, the daughter
of Addis Milton Moore and Lillian Katherine Johnston Moore; and
WHEREAS,
she was a retired bookkeeper for First Peoples Bank and First Union Bank in Pine
Mountain; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Nelson was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church; and
WHEREAS,
she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Lewis Nelson;
and
WHEREAS,
she is survived by her son, Andrew Milton Sivell, a grandson, a nephew, and two
nieces; and
WHEREAS,
her life provides an example of a life well lived for all who follow in her
path.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body honor the life of Mrs. Eula Mae Nelson and express their sincerest
condolences to her family and friends upon her passing.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of
Mrs. Eula Mae Nelson.
