RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Jack and Helen Bryant; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Jack, a sophomore at Winder-Barrow High School, and Helen Bryant, a fifth grade
student at Bramlett Elementary School, both won in the State Winners Recital
during the Georgia Music Teachers Association convention; and
WHEREAS,
Jack and Helen Bryant received top honors at the state level in last spring's
Georgia Music Teachers Association Spring Audition; and
WHEREAS,
Jack won in the brass division for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors performing
the third movement of Mozart's Third Horn Concerto, while Helen won the fourth
grade piano division; and
WHEREAS,
the phenomenal performance of Jack and Helen Bryant is a clear indication of
their outstanding musical ability, dedication and hard work, superb talents, and
the astute guidence of their teachers; and
WHEREAS,
as these magnificent siblings earned their well-deserved reputation for
excellence by performing with precision over months of practice, it is
abundantly proper to call them winners.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Jack and Helen Bryant on their win at the state music
competition, recognize their musical talents, and extend their best wishes for
future success.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Jack and
Helen Bryant.
