RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Ms. Dianne Bryant; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ms. Dianne Bryant has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the
vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep personal commitment to
the welfare of her neighbors; and
WHEREAS,
a 30 year resident of the Capitol View Neighborhood, Ms. Bryant has devoted
numerous hours of her time, talents, and energy to civic organizations and has
held numerous leadership roles in community organizations; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Bryant's vision and commitment have been instrumental to NPU-X, where she
has served as treasurer and chair from 2005 to 2009; and
WHEREAS,
she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,
talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as
evidenced dramatically by her superlative service as chair of the Parks
Committee and Public Safety Committee for the NPU; and
WHEREAS,
a woman of deep and abiding faith, she is an active member of Rice Memorial
Presbyterian Church, where she serves as chair of the evangelism committee;
and
WHEREAS,
her significant organizational and leadership talents, her remarkable patience
and diplomacy, her keen sense of vision, and her sensitivity to the needs of the
citizens of this state have earned her the respect and admiration of her
neighbors and peers; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Bryant is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation
for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
it is fitting that this body express its appreciation to Ms. Bryant for the
great credit she reflects on her community and this state.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Ms. Dianne Bryant for her outstanding service to the City of
Atlanta and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Dianne
Bryant.
