BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act creating the South Georgia Regional Information Technology
Authority, approved May 29, 2007 (Ga. L. 2007, p. 4336), so as to prohibit the
authority from issuing any revenue bonds; to repeal conflicting laws; and for
other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act creating the South Georgia Regional Information Technology Authority,
approved May 29, 2007 (Ga. L. 2007, p. 4336), is amended by adding after Section
26 a new section to read as follows:
"SECTION
26A.
Any
other provision of this Act to the contrary notwithstanding, the authority shall
not issue any revenue bonds on or after July 1, 2009."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
