A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT


To amend Article 1 of Chapter 27 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding the lottery for education, so as to provide for certain prerequisites prior to employees of the Georgia Lottery Corporation receiving certain types of compensation; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
Article 1 of Chapter 27 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding the lottery for education, is amended by revising subsection (a) Code Section 50-27-12, relating to employees of the Georgia Lottery Corporation and compensation, as follows:
"(a) The corporation shall establish and maintain a personnel program for its employees and fix the compensation and terms of compensation of its employees, including, but not limited to, production incentive payments; provided, however, that production incentive payment, bonuses, or any other consideration in addition to an employee's base compensation shall not be paid if the lottery's net proceeds do not exceed 35 percent."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
