A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend an Act entitled "An Act to provide for the compensation and expenses of the chairperson and members of the Board of Education of Dodge County," approved April 19, 2000 (Ga. L. 2000, p. 4466), so as to provide that such officers shall receive such compensation and expenses as provided by general law; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.

An Act entitled "An Act to provide for the compensation and expenses of the chairperson and members of the Board of Education of Dodge County," approved April 19, 2000 (Ga. L. 2000, p. 4466), is amended by revising Section 1 as follows:

"SECTION 1.

The chairperson and members of the Board of Education of Dodge County shall receive such compensation and expenses as provided by general law."

SECTION 2.

This Act shall become effective on the first day of the month following the month in which it is approved by the Governor or becomes law without such approval.

SECTION 3.

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
