BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Article 7 of Chapter 36 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia
Annotated, relating to procedure for resolving annexation disputes, so as to
revise the compensation for members of the arbitration panel; to provide for
related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Article
7 of Chapter 36 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to procedure for resolving annexation disputes, is amended by revising
subsection (d) of Code Section 36-36-115, relating to compensation of
arbitration panel, as follows:
"(d)
The members of the arbitration panel shall receive
the
same
$115.00
per diem,
expenses, and allowances
plus mileage
for travel for their service on the
committee
as is
authorized by law for members of interim legislative study
committees."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
