145th GENERAL ASSEMBLY

SENATE BILL NO. 191

AN ACT TO PLACE A CAP ON THE FISCAL YEAR 2011 BUDGET.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1. The State shall limit its total expenditures to the lesser of the estimated revenue for Fiscal Year 2011 as developed by the Delaware Economic and Financial Advisory Council ("DEFAC") revenue forecast in its May 2010 meeting, or $2.85 Billion.

SYNOPSIS

This Bill places an overall cap on State appropriations of the lesser of $2.85 billion or the May 2010 DEFAC estimated revenue projections for FY 2011.
