SENATE BILL NO. 147

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO VETERINARIANS ADMINISTERING VACCINES AND DISCIPLINARY ACTION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §3316(a), Title 24 of the Delaware Code by adding a new paragraph (16) to read as follows:

"(16)Engaged in the act of administering vaccines in excess of the dosages and/or frequencies recommended by the manufacturer of the vaccines."

SYNOPSIS

This Bill creates a disciplinary action if a veterinarian gives vaccines in excess of the recommended dosages and/or frequencies.
