SENATE BILL NO. 138 AS AMENDED BY SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1 |
Section 1.AMEND Title 9, Section2660(a) by deleting the phrase "5 years" in the last sentence thereof and replacing such phrase with "10 years."
Section 2.AMEND Title 9, Section4960(a) by deleting the phrase "5 years" in the last sentence thereof and replacing such phrase with "10 years."
Section 3.AMEND Title 9, Section6960(a) by deleting the phrase "5 years" in the last sentence thereof and replacing such phrase with "10 years."
Section 4.Amend Title 9, Delaware Code, by adding a new section §319, to read as follows:
"§319.Review of Comprehensive Plans.
At least every 5 years a county shall review its adopted comprehensive plan to determine if its provisions are still relevant given changing conditions in the county or in the surrounding areas. The adopted comprehensive plan shallbe revised, updated and amended as necessary, and re-adopted at least every 10 years."
