A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ALL DELAWARE HIGH SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES WITH INFORMATION ABOUT GRADUATING SENIORS. |
WHEREAS, graduation from high school is an achievement and milestone in a student's life worthy of recognition; and
WHEREAS, the members of the House of Representatives have an interest in knowing the names of the students in their respective districts who graduate from high school each year; and
WHEREAS, it is important that this information be received in a timely fashion before the new graduates disperse;
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 146th General Assembly of the State of Delaware that each Delaware high school is hereby requested to provide the House of Representatives with the names and addresses of the students who graduate from the school each year. This list must be submitted electronically in spreadsheet format.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each Delaware high school is hereby requested to submit this spreadsheet database of its graduating seniors and their addresses to the Chief Clerk of the Delaware House of Representatives no later than June of each year.Members of the House of Representatives shall make use of the lists only in connection with their official legislative duties.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, upon passage, a suitably prepared and duly authenticated copy of this Resolution be sent to all Delaware high schools.
