HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 22

 

COMMENDING THE NOMINEES AND RECIPIENTS OF THE 2017 DELAWARE AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE AND COMMITMENT IN STATE SERVICE.

 

 

 

WHEREAS, over 14,199 State of Delaware employees provide critical services to the people of Delaware; and

WHEREAS, each year the Governor honors State employees who have delivered a superlative level of public service; and

WHEREAS, each day people working for the State of Delaware perform tasks that protect our environment, safeguard public health and safety and execute other vital and necessary functions that keep our citizens well-served by their State government; and

WHEREAS, the level of dedication demonstrated by those nominated and those who received the 2017 Delaware Award for Excellence and Commitment in State Service exceeds the already high standards of their colleagues; and

WHEREAS, the recipients for recognition for this achievement in 2017 include:

Ronald Bounds, Randell Greer, James Ristovski, Daina Gunther, Angela Garnsey and Deborah Walker.

WHEREAS, the nominees of the 2017 Delaware Award for Excellence and Commitment in State Service include:

Walter Armstrong, Richard Booker, Emmanuel Carlis, Terry Austin, Cali Engelsiepen, Gail McGlashan, Elaine Mundy, Cheryal Roe, Mark Buckalew, Dominic Carretto, Vincent Checchi, Julius Davis, James Dowling, Tammy Hudson, Laura Pepper, Gayle Lafferty, Stacey Laing, Theresa Madl-Young, Joseph Mazzola, Lisa Mills-Grubbs, Wendy Roberts, Lisa Tanielian, Heather Zwickert.

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 149th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the Senate concurring therein, that we hereby honor the nominees for the 2017 Delaware Award for Excellence and Commitment in State service and offer them our gratitude for a job well done.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Concurrent Resolution be presented to the award nominees.
