HOUSE BILL NO. 51

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 85, VOLUME 77 OF THE LAWS OF DELAWARE RELATING TO THE ESTATE TAX.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Three-fifths of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):

Section 1. Amend �10, Chapter 85, Volume 77 of the Laws of Delaware by making deletions as shown by strike through as follows:

Section 10. This Act shall sunset four (4) years from the effective date.

SYNOPSIS

This Act eliminates the sunset of the estate tax scheduled to take effect on July 1, 2013.
