AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO FAMILY COURT. |
Section 1.Amend §1043(d), Chapter 9, Title 10 of the Delaware Code by inserting the word "or" between the phrase "of the order" and the phrase "where necessary" as they appear in the second sentence of §1043(d) and by deleting the word "provide" as it appears in the same sentence and inserting in lieu thereof the word "continue".
SYNOPSIS

This bill clarifies that Family Court may extend an ex parte order up to 30 days, for purposes other than effectuating service, where necessary to continue protection. |
