HOUSE BILL NO. 41

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 9 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO EXEMPTIONS FROM REAL PROPERTY TAXATION FOR CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend �8106(a) of Title 9 of the Delaware Code by adding the following below "Sussex County Habitat for Humanity." where it appears in �8106(a):

"The Academy of the Dance, Inc.".

SYNOPSIS

This Act exempts real property owned by The Academy of the Dance, Inc. from taxation and assessment for public purposes by county or local government as long as such property is not held for purposes of investment.
