HOUSE BILL NO. 366

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO DISCLOSURE OF CONSULTANTS AND CONTRACTORS TO AGENCIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §6908(a), Chapter 69, Title 29 of the Delaware Code by adding a new paragraph to read as follows:

"(8) Publicly disclose on the internet a list of all consultants and contractors used by any agency within one (1) year of the date of disclosure.Such disclosure shall include the full name and address of the consultant and contractor, the terms of service to be provided, cost, the time period such service is to be provided, and the full name and position of the person who approved the consultant and contractor contract.This list shall be updated at least once every three (3) months.".

Section 2.This act shall become effective 90 days after enactment.

SYNOPSIS

This bill requires the Section of Government Support Services in the Office of Management and Budget to publicly disclose on the internet a list of consultants and contractors and their terms of service to any State agency.
