AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE |
Section 1.Amend §4815(b)(3)b.2., Title 29 of the Delaware Code by striking "11%" as it appears therein and substituting in lieu thereof "10.75%".
Section 2.Amend §4815(c), Title 29 of the Delaware Code by inserting the following sentence immediately after the second sentence thereof:
"Purses shall be paid from the proceeds from the sports lottery, less amounts returned to winning players and vendors fees, at the rate of 10.2% for video lottery agents licensed only to conduct harness racing meets and at the rate of 9.6% for video lottery agents licensed only to conduct thoroughbred racing meets.".
Section 3.This Act shall be effective upon the date of its enactment or July 6, 2009, whichever is later.

This Bill adjusts certain purse distributions and assures that the video lottery agents supplement purses with a portion of sports lottery proceeds. |
