   Resolved by the Senate of the State of California, That Senator
Darrell Steinberg be, and is hereby, elected President pro Tempore of
the Senate; that Gregory P. Schmidt be, and is hereby, elected
Secretary of the Senate; and that Tony Beard, Jr., be, and is hereby,
elected Sergeant at Arms of the Senate.
