An act to amend Section 1120 of the Military and Veterans Code,
relating to veterans.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 962, as introduced, Anderson. Veterans' homes.
Existing law authorizes a county to provide and maintain a home
for veteran soldiers, sailors, and marines who have served the United
States in any of its wars.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these
provisions.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 1120 of the Military and Veterans Code is
amended to read:
1120. Any A county may provide and
maintain a home for veteran soldiers, sailors, and marines who have
served the United States honorably in any of its wars.
