An act relating to adult education.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 877, as introduced, Smallwood-Cuevas. Adult education.
Existing law establishes adult basic education as the responsibility of high school and unified school districts except in those instances where by mutual agreement the responsibility is assigned to a community college district.
This bill would declare the Legislature’s intent to enact subsequent legislation relating to the provision of adult educational services.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation relating to the provision of adult educational services.
