An act to amend Section 19006 of the Welfare and Institutions
Code, relating to the Department of Rehabilitation.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 795, as introduced, Lara. Department of Rehabilitation.
Existing law establishes the Department of Rehabilitation within
the California Health and Human Services Agency. Existing law
authorizes the department to adopt, amend, or repeal those rules and
regulations as may be reasonably necessary to enable it to carry out
its duties and powers, as specified.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to those
provisions.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 19006 of the Welfare and Institutions Code is
amended to read:
19006. The department may adopt, amend, or repeal, in accordance
with the provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act,
such those rules and regulations as may be
reasonably necessary to enable it to carry out its duties and powers.
