An act to amend Section 32731 of the Food and Agricultural Code, relating to milk products.

SB 763, as introduced, Wilk. Milk products.
The Milk and Milk Products Act of 1947 authorizes the Secretary of Food and Agriculture, among other things, to take a sample of any milk, cream, product of milk or cream, or product resembling milk products and examine, inspect, test, or by other means determine the health of any cow or goat.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 32731 of the Food and Agricultural Code is amended to read:

32731.
 The director secretary may do all of the following:
(a) Enter and inspect any the premises or conveyance where any a provision of this division is applicable.
(b) Take a sample of any milk, cream, a product of milk or cream, or a product resembling milk products.
(c) Impound and hold for analysis or as evidence any milk, cream, a product of milk or cream, or a product resembling milk products.
(d) Impound and hold for analysis or as evidence any a container of milk, cream, or a product of milk or cream.
(e) Examine, inspect, test test, or by other means determine the health of any a cow or goat.
(f) Exclude from the herd any an animal which that produces milk that is unfit for human consumption.
