	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 709, as introduced, Hollingsworth. Fish and wildlife: taking
and possession.

Existing law regulates the taking or possession of birds, mammals,
fish, amphibians, and reptiles and generally provides that a
violation of the fish and game laws is a crime.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that
violation provision.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
