	BILL TEXT

INTRODUCED BY Senator Berryhill

                        FEBRUARY 22, 2013

An act to amend Section 2001 of the Fish and Game Code, relating
to fish and wildlife resources.

	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 707, as introduced, Berryhill. Unlawful taking or possession of
animals.
Existing law makes it unlawful to take mammals, birds, fish,
reptiles, and amphibians outside of established seasons or to exceed
any bag limit or possession limit established by statute or by
regulations adopted by the Fish and Game Commission. Existing law
provides that a violation of any established season, bag limit, or
possession limit may be charged as a violation generally or of the
specific code section or regulation that establishes the season or
limit.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these
provisions.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.

section or of the specific code section or regulation that
