   An act to amend Section 60.8 of the Labor Code, relating to
employment.



	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 667, as introduced, Steinberg. Division of Occupational Safety
and Health: expenditures.
   Existing law authorizes the Division of Occupational Safety and
Health to expend moneys appropriated for enforcement of laws under
its jurisdiction.
   This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 60.8 of the Labor Code is amended to read:
   60.8.  The Division of Occupational Safety and Health may expend
 money   moneys  appropriated for the
administration of the laws the enforcement of which is committed to
the division. Such expenditures by the division shall be made in
accordance with law in carrying out the purposes for which the
appropriations were made.
