An act relating to economic development.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 535, as introduced, Pan. City of Sacramento.
Existing law supports economic development in cities throughout
the state.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to encourage economic development in the downtown area of
the City of Sacramento through a partnership between the state, the
City of Sacramento, and the federal government.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to encourage economic development in the downtown area of
the City of Sacramento through a partnership between the state, the
City of Sacramento, and the federal government.
