SB 209, as introduced, Cannella. State Department of Health Care Services.
Existing law establishes the State Department of Health Care Services within the California Health and Human Services Agency. Existing law sets forth the department’s powers and duties relating to, among other things, public health, licensing and certification of certain health facilities, and the state Medi-Cal program.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to the powers and duties of the department.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to the powers and duties of the State Department of Health Care Services.
