An act to amend Section 13140 of the Water Code, relating to water.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

The Porter‑Cologne Water Quality Control Act requires the State Water Resources Control Board to formulate and adopt state policy for water quality control.

This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 13140 of the Water Code is amended to read:

13140.

The state board shall formulate and adopt state policy for water quality control. ~~Such~~ The state policy shall be adopted in accordance with ~~the provisions of~~ this article and shall be in conformity with the policies set forth in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 13000).
