Senate Bill
No. 1424
Introduced by Senator Nielsen |
February 18, 2022 |
An act to amend Section 114.3 of the Business and Professions Code, relating to consumer affairs.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 1424, as introduced, Nielsen.
Consumer affairs: the Department of Consumer Affairs.
Existing law provides for the licensure and regulation of various professions and vocations by boards within the Department of Consumer Affairs. Existing law requires those boards to waive the renewal fees, continuing education requirements, and other renewal requirements, if any are applicable, for any licensee or registrant called to active duty as a member of the United States Armed Forces or the California National Guard if certain requirements are met.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that requirement.
