   An act to amend Section 66800 of the Government Code, relating to
the Tahoe Regional Planning Compact.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 1194, as introduced, Gaines. Tahoe Regional Planning Compact.
   Existing law states that the Legislature hereby ratifies and
approves the Tahoe Regional Planning Compact.
   This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 66800 of the Government Code is amended to
read:
   66800.  The Legislature of California hereby ratifies and approves
the "Tahoe Regional Planning Compact" as set forth  below
  in Section 66801  .
