CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE— 2017–2018 REGULAR SESSION

Senate Bill No. 1070

Introduced by Senator Mendoza

February 12, 2018

An act to amend Section 23005 of the Government Code, relating to counties.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 1070, as introduced, Mendoza. Counties.
Existing law divides the state into counties, enumerates a county’s powers, and specifies that a county may exercise its powers only through the board of supervisors or through agents and officers acting under authority of the board or authority conferred by law.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the latter provision.
