An act relating to taxation.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 945, as introduced, Nestande. Taxation: credits.
The Personal Income Tax Law and the Corporate Tax Law authorize
various credits against the taxes imposed by those laws.
This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would allow credits against the taxes imposed by
those laws, and provide for tax reform, for small businesses.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that would authorize tax credits and tax reform for small
businesses.
