An act to amend Section 4601.4 of the Public Resources Code, relating to forestry.

Forest practices: violations.
The Z’berg-Nejedly Forest Practice Act of 1973 prohibits a person from conducting timber operations unless a timber harvesting plan prepared by a registered professional forester has been submitted for such operations to the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The act requires the State Board of Forestry and Fire Protection to adopt district forest practice rules and regulations and provides that a violation of a procedural requirement that does not result in or cause environmental damage, as provided, is an infraction.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the above provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 4601.4 of the Public Resources Code is amended to read:4601.4.
