   An act to add Section 2855 to the Public Utilities Code, relating
to energy.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 915, as introduced, Fletcher. California Solar Initiative.
   Under existing law, the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has
regulatory authority over public utilities, including electrical
corporations. Decisions of the PUC adopted the California Solar
Initiative.
   This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to modify
the California Solar Initiative.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 2855 is added to the Public Utilities Code, to
read:
   2855.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to
modify the California Solar Initiative.
