An act to amend Section 1798.150 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to emergency medical services.

AB 793, as introduced, Nazarian. Critical care facilities.
Existing law requires the Emergency Medical Services Authority to develop and implement guidelines that address designated components for emergency medical services systems. Existing law allows the authority to establish guidelines for hospital facilities according to critical care capabilities in cooperation with affected medical organizations.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 1798.150 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:

1798.150.
 The authority may is authorized to establish, in cooperation with affected medical organizations, guidelines for hospital facilities according to critical care capabilities.
