February 15, 2017

An act to amend Section 6101 of the Water Code, relating to water.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 685, as introduced, Fong. Water: dams and reservoirs.
Existing law provides that all dams and reservoirs in the state are under the jurisdiction of the Department of Water Resources. Existing law authorizes the department to require owners of dams and reservoirs to keep records of, and to report on, maintenance, operation, staffing, and engineering and geologic investigations.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
