LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
Existing law, the Child Care and Development Services Act, administered by the State Department of Social Services, establishes a system of child care and development services for children up to 13 years of age. Existing law requires the department to contract with entities organized under law to operate family child care home education networks to support educational objectives for children in licensed family child care homes that serve families eligible for subsidized child care.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
