An act to amend Section 16002 of the Public Resources Code, relating to solid waste.

AB 2844, as introduced, Calderon. Solid waste: recycled concrete materials.
Existing law authorizes the use of recycled concrete materials if a user has been fully informed, as defined, that the concrete may contain recycled concrete materials.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this law.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 16002 of the Public Resources Code is amended to read:

16002.
 (a) Recycled concrete materials may be used if a user has been fully informed that the concrete may contain recycled concrete materials.
(b) For the purposes of this section, “fully informed” means informed of the potential use of recycled materials in a concrete product prior to before or at the time of ordering, either orally or in writing, and informed by the delivery receipt as to the recycled ingredients at delivery acceptance.
