LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 2704, as introduced, Kiley.
Local educational agencies: family-school partnership programs.
Under existing law, known as the Teresa P. Hughes Family-School Partnership Award and Grant Program, as administered by the State Department of Education, the Superintendent of Public Instruction awards nonmonetary awards, in the form of plaques or signs, to school districts and county offices of education for schools that operate outstanding family-school partnership programs.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.
