An act to amend Section 33080 of the Education Code, relating to
education.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 268, as introduced, Smyth. Education.
Existing law states that each child is a unique person, with
unique needs, and that the purpose of the educational system of this
state is to enable each child to develop all of his or her own
potential.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this
provision.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 33080 of the Education Code is amended to read:
33080. Each child is a unique person, with unique needs, and the
purpose of the educational system of this state is to enable
each every child to develop all of his or her
own potential.
