An act to amend Section 33110 of the Education Code, relating to
the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 2671, as introduced, Weber. Superintendent of Public
Instruction: powers and duties.
Existing law authorizes the Superintendent of Public Instruction
to employ one Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction and
necessary clerical and expert assistants, and to fix the compensation
of all statutory and other employees as provided by law, except as
otherwise provided.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 33110 of the Education Code is amended to read:
33110. The Superintendent of Public Instruction
Superintendent may employ one Deputy
Superintendent of Public Instruction and necessary clerical and
expert assistants, and may fix the compensation of all statutory and
other employees as provided by law, except as otherwise provided.
