AB 2620, as introduced, Boerner Horvath. North County Transit District: pilot program.
Existing law creates the North County Transit District, with various powers and duties relative to the planning and operation of a transit system in north San Diego County.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that would allocate funding to the North County Transit District to purchase shuttles for use in a 3-year pilot program to implement and operate an on-demand shared ride service as a transit option for specified cities within the district.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation that would allocate funding to the North County Transit District to purchase shuttles for use in a three-year pilot program to implement and operate an on-demand shared ride service as a transit option for specified cities within the district.
