An act to amend Section 18872 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to housing.

AB 2575, as introduced, Carrillo. Special Occupancy Parks Act: lots.
Existing law requires the Department of Housing and Community Development to adopt regulations to govern the construction, maintenance, occupancy, and use of special occupancy parks, as defined, and lots within the parks. Existing law requires the regulations to establish standards and requirements that protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the occupants and residents of parks.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to those provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 18872 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:

18872.
 Except as provided in Section 18930, the department shall adopt regulations to govern the construction, use, occupancy, and maintenance maintenance, occupancy, and use of parks and lots within the parks. The regulations adopted by the department shall establish standards and requirements that protect the health, safety, and general welfare of the occupants and residents of parks. The regulations adopted by the department shall provide equivalent or greater protection to the residents of parks than the statutes and regulations in effect on December 31, 1977.
