   An act relating to community correctional centers.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 2569, as introduced, Valadao. Community correctional centers.
   Existing law authorizes the Director of Corrections and
Rehabilitation to establish and operate community correctional
centers to provide housing, supervision, counseling, and other
correctional programs for persons committed to the Department of
Corrections and Rehabilitation.
   This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation relating to community correctional centers.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation relating to community correctional centers.
