An act to amend Section 14511 of the Food and Agricultural Code,
relating to fertilizer.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 2283, as introduced, Gorell. Fertilizing material: agricultural
liming materials.
Existing law generally regulates fertilizing materials, as
defined, and provides for the licensure of individuals who
manufacture or distribute fertilizing materials. Existing law defines
agricultural liming materials for the purpose of regulating
fertilizing materials.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes in the definition of
agricultural liming materials.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 14511 of the Food and Agricultural Code is
amended to read:
14511. "Agricultural liming materials" are
means agricultural minerals composed of calcium or
magnesium compounds, or both, which that
are capable of neutralizing soil acidity and which
that are distributed in this state for that
purpose.
