An act to amend Section 34000 of the Government Code, relating to cities.

Existing law defines the term “legislative body” for purposes of provisions applicable to the government of cities.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to that definition.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 34000 of the Government Code is amended to read:

34000.
 As used in this title, “legislative body” means the board of trustees, city council, or other governing body of a city.
