An act to amend Section 127000 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to public health.

AB 2139, as introduced, Chiu. Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development.

Existing law establishes the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development in the California Health and Human Services Agency. The office is vested with all the duties, powers, purposes, responsibilities, and jurisdiction of the State Department of Public Health relating to health planning and research development.

This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to one of those provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 127000 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:

127000.

There is in the state government, in the ~~Health and Welfare~~ California Health and Human Services Agency, an Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development.
