An act relating to massage therapy.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 2007, as introduced, Chu. Massage therapy.

Existing law, the Massage Therapy Act, provides for the certification of massage practitioners and massage therapists by the California Massage Therapy Council.

This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would require documents for certification as a massage practitioner or massage therapist to be provided in multiple languages.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would require documents for certification as a massage practitioner or massage therapist to be provided in multiple languages.
