An act to add Section 425.4 to the Government Code, relating to state emblems.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 1769, as introduced, Voepel. State horse: California Vaquero Horse.
Existing law establishes the state flag and the state’s emblems, including among other things, the California Grizzly Bear as the official state animal.
This bill would establish the California Vaquero Horse as the official state horse.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 425.4 is added to the Government Code, to read:

425.4.
 The California Vaquero Horse is the official state horse.
