Assembly Bill No. 1657

Introduced by Assembly Member Gomez

February 17, 2017

An act to amend Section 14011 of the Insurance Code, relating to insurance adjusters.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 1657, as introduced, Gomez. Insurance adjusters.
Existing law, the Insurance Adjuster Act, sets forth various requirements with respect to operation as an insurance adjuster in this state, among others, licensing, emergency licenses, and discipline. Existing law authorizes the Insurance Commissioner to appoint inspectors, investigators, and other personnel as necessary to enforce the provisions of the act.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision.
Vote: MAJORITY   Appropriation: NO   Fiscal Committee: NO   Local Program: NO

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.

Section 14011 of the Insurance Code is amended to read:

14011.
